Local Artist Samantha Hunt of Joylola Art holds a Masters in Art Therapy as well as a Degree Studio Art. Working in Art Galleries and Museums all over New York State including Dia: Beacon and the Museum of Modern Art. Samantha focuses on Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling where the intrinsic relationship between the process of making art and personal growth/awareness became a guiding force in her career and personal artwork.
Attendees will be guided through image transfer techniques, to create artwork using their own personal mementos and photos. This will be an exercise in exploring the creative process and constructing artwork based on images from each participant’s past memories.
• Participates will need to bring mementos and photo copies on paper that they would like to use in the project.
