Wilma Sanchez is an Illustrator, Designer, and a High School Special Education Teacher. Art has always been a part of her life and her creativity is reflected in everything she does.
Making soaps started out as a weekend experiment and soon became a passion for Wilma.
The process is not only creative but soothing and relaxing. "I let go of all the week's stresses, as I combine fragrances with color into my glycerin base." She believes that being able to share this new found passion is just as rewarding as making the soaps.
Making hand-made soap is fun, creative and super easy. In this workshop, students will be introduced to the basics of soap making by using the melt and pour process.
After choosing from a wide range of molds, students are provided with all the supplies needed to make their first batch. In this simple process, they learn how to add fragrance and color the base, to create their own beautiful soap masterpiece.
Students take home everything they create during the class.
