Matthew's Community Drumming was created by Matthew Broad to help foster love, listening, and community through drumming and to create a sense of cooperation with all who participate in the experience. Matthew has been teaching hand drumming for over 20 years and within a few minutes is able to teach a group of people how to drum and listen to each other regardless of age and prior experience. The positive cooperative style to every class or workshop allows people to grow and learn at their own speed which enhances a natural healing process within themselves and everyone leaves the group feeling good.
Matthew offers group classes, individual lessons, and workshops for all ages. His classes are non-judgmental, co-operative, and relaxed. Learning drumming technique and traditional West African rhythms are fun and easy. Storytelling and love are brought to each class so everyone feels accepted and part of the group.
Open to men and women to learn some basic hand drumming techniques and rhythms while helping reduce life's stresses and to be a part of a supportive community. You will leave this workshop feeling good and wanting more.
